The pain

You know the reel you want. You can see it. Then it is two hours of dragging clips around, a prompt that almost worked, a credit balance that did not survive the third try, and a caption you typed by hand at midnight. Tomorrow you skip the post.

What I’m building

Tell it the idea. The workflow I’m building starts with your own clips, cuts a draft, and uses generated shots to fill the gaps. Your frames guide those shots. Captions stay inside the safe zone, and you approve generation spend before it starts. You tweak, you post, you go to bed.

What you get back

A draft to react to, instead of an empty timeline.
Your own footage stays at the centre of the story.
A spending decision before a generation, not after it.

The cost goal: make regular posting affordable. Actual costs will depend on the model, available compute and retries. I’ll publish measured examples before launch.

The pain

The good models are expensive, so you test on the cheap one and the cheap one makes your product look like someone else’s. Or you pay for the good one, get a take you cannot use, and pay again. By the third variant, the budget is making the creative decisions.

What I’m building

Explore the shot with lower-cost takes, then choose where a premium model earns its place. Reference frames anchor your product at the start and end of the shot. Your brief becomes a structured generation prompt, with the product, movement and camera direction made explicit.

What you get back

Explore a direction before committing the larger spend.
Give each shot a clear reference and a specific job.
Keep useful variants and learn from the failed ones.

The honest bit: a failed generation can still cost money. References improve control; they do not guarantee consistency. The design goal is fewer avoidable failures.

I don’t remember which prompt made the good one.

It is in a chat somewhere. Or a screenshot. Or gone.

The pain

The shot that worked was made from a frame you grabbed in one app, a prompt you polished in a second, a model you ran in a third, and a seed you never wrote down. Now the client wants it two seconds longer and you are starting from zero.

What I’m building

Every shot should remember how it was made: your brief, the prompt actually sent, reference frames, model, settings, seed where supported, and recorded cost. Reopen that setup when you need another take. Planning, generation and assembly belong in the same project, with files you can back up.

What you get back

Return to the setup behind a useful take.
Revise one shot without rebuilding the whole project.
Keep the original alongside every new version.

And nothing gets overwritten: the planned workflow saves each take as a new file and moves deleted takes to a bin. Reusing settings rebuilds the setup; it does not guarantee an identical generation.
